Rockford 2020 After Grad Committee Meeting Minutes

11/19/19- Rams Den

-Needed 3 more for 11/21 Wine night. Added another date and need 10 volunteers. Sign up same way.

-carried over $1000 from 2019. We will have to do the same.

-Read Beth Legg’s email up destination updates.

-Lynn Hammer to check with Family Fare on the RECEIPTS donation. Not feasible so we are not entertaining.

-Spring Fling is 3/14 at Boulder Creek. 7-10pm with a band.

-Jen Lewandowski confirmed Jersey Mikes $5 sub. Dietary needs will need to be requested directly to her.

-Suggested that a basket of feminine products be available at destination. Beth please add this to your list.

-Amy Hayes suggested KIDS volunteer at Just Between Friends. 10 kids/4 hours/$250 to RHS Aftergrad. Can also get a letter for volunteering. Could get a few groups for a weekend date in March. Could get a few groups for a weekend date in March.

-Van Andel requires training, so not an option.

-Amy Hayes suggested black hats with RHS 2020 to give to ALL grads, not just the ones attending. General price about $4000.

-Amy Hayes confirmed and had Lenderink Tree Farm coupons made to fund raise. 300 were made and distributed to all in attendance. I dropped at Burger Shack/Re/Max and Farm Bureau.

- Nancy created a Google Doc to share with all, view only, to see who has contacted who for donations. Please remember that ALL are to help secure monetary and gifts to Auction.

-46 registered (hard to read).

-Suggested having a 50/50 raffle at a basketball game. Please volunteer to own and run this. Any other suggestions and taking control are welcome.

-Agreed to have an ongoing can drive until Spring Fling. Possibly having a box in office to drop receipts to collect every few weeks.

-MANY great donations already!!!! Thank you to all that have helped and are helping to make it a success.

-All agreed we are not spending thousands of dollars on GRAD gifts. Once we have the amount collected we will reevaluate.
